This is a very personal song to me. A lot of things happened in my life and a lot of people in my life have told me things that have led me to think that I am a very hopeless person, that I am unwanted, that I am not worth anything, that I am not loved, and I’m sure that you have all been there too. Because just being a human being, that just kind of happens. For some reason, it’s the way we’re wired, I don’t know why. What I want to tell you.. when someone tells you that you are not worth it, that you are not loved, that you can’t do anything with your life, that is not true. And I want you to take this to heart right now, any single person, I believe this wholeheartedly, any person has the power to change the whole world. One single person. And all you have to do is just set your mind to it, that’s all you have to do. And when people tell you those things, like you’re not gonna make it, like if your’e in a band I’m sure that plenty of people tell you how much ou suck and that you’re not gonna make it.. Who cares? Don’t listen to them. Just keep doing what you wanna do. I feel like there’s a whole lot of negative in this music scene. A lot of people just promote negative shit. And you know what? I don’t think that’s worth anything. I think being positive and loving one another is worth something. And I think eventually, it’s going to change this world. So I will challenge all of you, to just have the mindset, when somebody takes you down, don’t let that get to you. (x)
